Achievement
The
Maharashtra government fixed the target of Small Savings
of Rs.6.41 crores to Hingoli District during the year
2004-05 A special campaign in PPF was undertaken by the
Collector Hingoli.
1215 new
PPF accounts were opened & 2.24 crores rupees were
collected 991 MIS account were opened & 5 crore rupees
were collected.
Heads of
the Depts., revenue officials were given Small Savings
target to complete it during the financial year 2004-05

Villages were declared as Savings Villages. -RD accounts
were opened on a large scale -The ratio of total gross net
investment is 39% in Hingoli District. -The ratio of the
investment in Savings bank account is 7.5% in the
District. -The ratio of the investment if RD accounts is
28% Hingoli District has collected the deposits during the
last 5 years as follows.
